Playdate for Ridge!

Ridge wanted two friends to come over to play today, and I thought that would be a great idea!

The friends quickly turned into super heros running around saving the day.

Bennett was determined to be the bad guy. So Robin and Spiderman had a dual, while Superman decided it was best to watch from the stairs:

Later they built our family out of legos. Rob, Haley, Cobb, Charly, and Ridge all having an adventure!

Cuddle Time

Ridge has had a hard time the last two mornings as he has realized Charly and Cobb will be gone EVERY day. So we spent extra time cuddling this am. My sweet boy!

We forgot Daddy!

Poor Rob was behind the camera the whole first day of school! So we took this pic this a.m.:

Rob, thanks for being there. You are always present, and the kids know how much you love them because of your actions and your leading. We love you.

First Day of School

I thought sending the second kiddo off to Kindergarten was going to be a bit easier, especially since Charly was SO ready and SO excited! HA, was I wrong! I cried as soon as I left her. But both Charly and Cobb had great first days.

This morning they were fired up to go to school, and Ridge was just as excited to be staying home with me (surprise!). Here's some pics from our day today!

Charly and her big backpack!

Cobb was determined to be "on time." He did NOT want a tardy (which he wasn't close to getting). So we told him he could go on to class, and we would walk with Charly to hers. He was pumped about that!

She's fine...

And I was getting out of the building as fast as I could so the tears could fall.

Happy Birthday Cobbie T!

Happy 7th birthday Cobb!
(pictured here with his baby cousin Ellie)

Cobb, I couldn't be more proud of you. You are growing both in stature and in kindness. You have a such a sensitive heart towards others, and it warms my heart to watch it play out with your friends and siblings. God has made you so wonderfully, and I am privileged to be "Cobb's mom." Your hugs can fill me with joy, and I love our conversations too!!

God has given you a creativity that is unique to you. You are strong, smart, witty, caring, and loyal. I look forward to watching my big boy continue to mature into the man God wants him to be. I will be here to pray for you as you meet challenges, and I'll cheer for you always, no matter what the outcome. You are mine, and I'm so glad God chose to give you to your dad and me! Love you. --Mom

Davin Bryngrim videos from the Echo Conference

The Echo Conference was a lot of fun. We had around 800 church media people at Watermark last Wednesday through Friday.

I thought it would be fun to post two videos that Blair, my brother, made. They make me laugh every time I watch them.
