Well, Dr. Harper did a TEE, which means he basically did an internal sonogram. Haley swallowed a tube with a camera and the doctor was able to get a really good look. He definitely saw a thickening at the top of the septum... egg-shaped. There was also a thickening on the top left wall of the atruim (I stink at medical terms... bear with me). Dr. Harper is going to show 3-4 other doctors on Monday and Tuesday and will give further thoughts. For now, he isn't convinced it's a tumor and it could be fatty tissue and/or a lypoma of some sort. Nothing concrete yet, but he ruled out many things it could've been and seems to have almost ruled out a tumor.... wow. We didn't expect that one to be ruled out (technically, it's not ruled out... just more unlikely at this point). There is a good chance that Haley will not need the surgery anytime soon, and maybe ever.
Haley is tuckered out. Isn't she pretty.
(the abnormally large pillows stacks are my parent's...more specifically, my mom's.)
