Girl Time

This morning Ridge played with his friend Bennett (thanks Stacey), and Cobb was hanging out at Chase Oaks church's VBS with his friend Harry Smith. So, Charly and I had some time together without the boys today. She planned our morning, and was very excited.

She packed her purse with princesses, and we headed to Starbucks. On the way she listened to Colbie Caillat's "Bubbly." She sings it all the time and thought it appropriate to listen to on the way.

She ordered some vanilla milk and pumpkin bread while I had my coffee. We played princesses at the table, but we weren't allowed to start until the pumpkin bread was finished. It was a good time.

Then we headed to a nail salon. She sat in my lap and got her nails done while I got a pedicure(thanks Erin!).

She picked out the color for both of us, a very bright pink. Really pretty on her little hands & feet, and very bright on mine.

Afterwards, we immediately went to daddy's office to show him. She couldn't wait for him to see the pretty flowers on her nails.

P.S. I think all this princess stuff is starting to rub off a little on Ridge. I caught him hanging out with the Prince and Bell yesterday. He was making them dance and kiss.

I'm sooo glad that you had a wonderful girl time this morning - sounds like lots of fun and I'm sure it'll be a wonderful memory for Charly! :-)

Better start saving up - you've got years of mani/pedis ahead of you! LOL!! :-)
