Great news! (but not over)

Praise the LORD! Dr. Harper shared the TEE results with another cardiologist. Both found the mass to be a "lipomatous infiltration of intra-atrial septum" or in lay man's terms--fatty tissue that has connected to the heart. This does not pose a threat, and I will NOT be having surgery!! They do want me to come back for another echo in 3 months to make sure that the fatty tissue is not growing. So we can pray that it doesn't!

Although, we are so grateful for the above results and the ruling out of many, many etiologies, my symptoms are still persistent. After discussing them with Dr. Harper, we agreed that the next step would be to make an appointment with a gastroenterologist(Dr. Bindra's original recommendation). So if any of you are "House" fans, we are back to the white board with a long list CROSSED OUT!

Praise:
1) I do not have to have heart surgery, and I do not have a tumor! whoo hoo!!!!!
2)Many, many things are ruled out including cancer.

Prayer:
1) that I would start feeling better so I can take on more responsibility with my kiddos
2)that we would find some answers soon
3)that we would continue to rest in God's provision

Sweet. I've had heart surgeries, they aren't the most fun, but they can be overcome :) Glad you don't have to go through one. (Found your site via jumpingmonkeys)

One thing, I have heart problems that I was born with. They've given me palpitations and arrhythmia in recent years. The better I eat, I mean, as close to raw within reason as I can get, the better I do. It's a drastic difference. I don't know if you eat any pre-packaged stuff, but I'd suggest doing your best to eat fresh. The only pre-packaged stuff I eat is pasta, dry beans, stuff like that. Maybe it could help you, if you don't do that already, and if you don't have meds that would restrict diet change.

Haley, I just saw this through your Facebook profile - I've been pretty delinquent on that site. Anyway, you and your faith are very strong, and I'm happy for you that your news seems to be getting better and better! I will send it on to the rest of the Field family (including Kim, who is in LA w/husband Carter). Keep strong, lady!
